Usage Instructions (General Guidelines)
Proper hygiene and application are critical for safe and effective results.
1. Cleanse: Double-cleanse the skin thoroughly to remove all makeup, dirt, and oils. Tie hair back away from the face.
2. Numb (Optional): A numbing cream (e.g., 5% lidocaine) can be applied for 20-30 minutes, then completely removed with an alcohol solution (like 60% alcohol and purified water) before starting treatment.
3. Apply Serum: Apply a hydrating serum, such as Hyaluronic Acid, to the treatment area just before needling to lubricate the skin and prevent the pen from dragging. Do not use active ingredients like Vitamin C, retinol, or exfoliants during the treatment.
4. Microneedle: Attach a new, sterile needle cartridge to the pen, select the desired needle depth and speed setting. Work in small sections, using a light, even pressure to move the pen in vertical, horizontal, and diagonal motions over the skin.
5. Post-Treatment Care: After the session, apply more serum to maximize absorption. Avoid active skincare products, strenuous activity, and direct sun exposure for at least 24-48 hours. Always use an SPF when going outside.
