Mandelic Acid is an alpha-hydroxy-acid (AHA). It is a very effective exfoliant, which is not photosensitizing. Mandelic acid can be used throughout the entire year as a component in exfoliating protocols. It expresses antiseptic qualities and cleans the skin from the built-up in gentle way superficially.

Salicylic acid is a beta-hydroxy-acid (BHA). It provides antiseptic, regenerating and fungicide qualities. It normalizes sebaceous function of skin and reduces appearance of dark spots.

Pyruvic acid gives the skin significant energy boost and helps other components of the gel to function better.
