A functional part of a VICTORIA PDO lifting thread is a barb (COG). It secures adherence of thread to tissues. COG configuration allows a better adherence to tissues in the area that contains a standard layer of subcutaneous fat and normal skin thickness. Threads are implanted into a subcutaneous fat layer.
